Why it matters
Sprinkler systems are the single most effective tool for controlling a fire before it spreads -- but a system with a closed valve, a corroded head, or low air pressure on a dry system can fail exactly when it's needed most. Most Ohio jurisdictions require documented sprinkler inspections on a set schedule as a condition of your occupancy permit and fire code compliance.

How often does my sprinkler system need to be inspected?
It depends on the component: some checks (like control valve position) are weekly or monthly, while others (like a full water-flow test) are annual. We build your specific schedule when we onboard your property and track it for you.
What's the difference between a wet, dry, and pre-action system?
Wet systems keep water in the pipes at all times and are the most common. Dry systems use pressurized air to hold water back until a sprinkler activates, used in unheated spaces where pipes could freeze. Pre-action systems require a separate detection event before water is released, often used where accidental discharge would cause serious damage (data centers, archives). Each has different NFPA 25 testing requirements, which we handle.
